Our Story
La Casita Pupuseria & Market opened in 2002 on Piney Branch Road. Taking over the Chesapeake Crab House space we found our namesake and inspiration as La Casita loosely translates to “Little House”. Originally a Market with rows of products we have since evolved into a full-on Pupuseria. The area of Silver Spring/Takoma Park is known for its rich diversity, positive energy, and growing community.
Every day we intend to fulfill our mission to create a family environment and offer delicious quality food. We want to be your one-stop destination where you can get your favorite Pupusas, snacks, drinks and much more.
We serve our food in a homely atmosphere where you’ll always see a familiar face. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, catering and on-demand delivery.
